Keeping Our Doors Open

Volunteers are the cornerstone of our success. Each year, thousands of people from this area are served by over 50 volunteers who devote over 600 hours of service and caring each month to you and your neighbors.

LCLC functions solely on volunteer commitment. Volunteers perform a wide variety of tasks: helping patrons find what they are looking for, processing donated materials, reading to patrons, operating the Help Desk, creating children's programming, purchasing supplies. Other volunteers are members of working committees that plan for the future of LCLC.

LCLC is governed by a local Board of Directors. All fundraising is performed by Lansing resident volunteers.

If you would like to become a volunteer, please give us a call at: 533-4939.
