Lansing
resident Jim Bell is a Professor of Astronomy at Cornell University,
and is the lead scientist responsible for the rovers' color imaging
system called Pancam.
In
this photo-rich presentation based on his recent book called
"Postcards from Mars" (Dutton/Penguin, 2006), Jim will share
his favorite images and stories from "inside" mission operations,
and describe the major scientific findings made by each rover
at each site during their more than three Earth year (so far)
adventures.
